Lasallian Brotherhood Shines at the 2025 Brother Thomas Cup
The bonds of La Salle brotherhood were on full display as the La Salle Old Boys Association – Toronto proudly hosted the annual Brother Thomas Cup Golf Tournament on September 28, 2025. Held at the prestigious St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Club, the event was a vibrant testament to our enduring spirit, uniting over 30 players from across the decades in a day of friendly rivalry and cherished fellowship.

The tournament was more than a game; it was a living tradition. The fairways echoed with shared memories and the unique camaraderie that defines our community, from seasoned graduates to our newest alumni.
As the sun set, the celebration continued at Starchiva Cuisine, Richmond Hill, where the fellowship deepened over an awards ceremony and a delightful dinner. The room buzzed with the unmistakable energy of Lasallians reconnecting and celebrating together.
We are thrilled to congratulate our champions, who exemplified the competitive excellence and grace of a true Lasallian:
- Champion: Dr. Edward Kong (‘65)
- First Runner-Up: Ken Kiu (‘69)
- Second Runner-Up: Dr. William Chan (‘69)
- Closest to the Pin: Arthur Cheong (‘22)
- Longest Drive: Woody Sung (‘22)
This resounding success was made possible through the selfless dedication and tireless work of our volunteers. The Association extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. William Chan (‘69) and the entire team of the Old Boys’ Association. Their commitment is a powerful reflection of our core values—a true commitment to serving the community and strengthening the ties that bind us all.
The 2025 Brother Thomas Cup was not just a tournament won, but a spirit renewed. Let us remember, we are not here for school, but for life.
