Under the bright summer sun of August 10th, 2025, the spirit of friendly rivalry and enduring fellowship was on full display at the Joint School Soccer Fun Day. The event brought together alumni from five prestigious institutions: La Salle Old Boys’ Association, Chinese University Alumni, Joint Salesian Group, St. Joseph College Hong Kong Alumni, and Joint Wah Yan (Kowloon and Hong Kong).
The day was filled with thrilling matches, showcasing not just skill and strategy, but the true essence of sportsmanship that binds these school communities together.
Undefeated on the Pitch: A Stellar Performance
Amidst the talented teams, one squad emerged with a particularly impressive record. The La Salle Old Boys’ Association team put on a magnificent display of football, finishing the day undefeated with two wins and two draws. This outstanding performance, the best among all participating teams, was a testament to their teamwork, determination, and skill on the field.
Adding to the pride and unity of the squad was the debut of their brand-new set of OBA soccer jerseys. The fresh kit, worn with distinction, symbolized a new chapter for the team while honouring a rich legacy.
