Lasallian Brotherhood Shines at the 2025 Brother Thomas Cup

The bonds of La Salle brotherhood were on full display as the La Salle Old Boys Association – Toronto proudly hosted the annual Brother Thomas Cup Golf Tournament on September 28, 2025. Held at the prestigious St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Club, the event was a vibrant testament to our enduring spirit, uniting over 30 players from across the decades in a day of friendly rivalry and cherished fellowship.

The tournament was more than a game; it was a living tradition. The fairways echoed with shared memories and the unique camaraderie that defines our community, from seasoned graduates to our newest alumni.

As the sun set, the celebration continued at Starchiva Cuisine, Richmond Hill, where the fellowship deepened over an awards ceremony and a delightful dinner. The room buzzed with the unmistakable energy of Lasallians reconnecting and celebrating together.

Friendly Football Match with St. Joseph’s College Alumni in Toronto – Jul 20, 2025

The La Salle College Old Boys Association (LSCOBA) Toronto was honored to participate in a memorable soccer match against our brother school, St. Joseph’s College Alumni, as part of their 150th Anniversary celebrations. The game was a testament to the enduring camaraderie, sportsmanship, and shared values
between our two institutions.

For decades, Lasallians and Josephians have fostered a bond built on mutual respect, friendly rivalry, and a passion for the beautiful game. This special match was no exception—filled with thrilling moments, teamwork, and the unwavering spirit of both alumni communities. LSCOBA treasures this tradition deeply, as it not only strengthens ties between our schools but also upholds the Lasallian and Josephian ideals of brotherhood, excellence, and fair play. The match was more than just a game; it was a celebration of
heritage, friendship, and the shared memories that connect us across generations.

We are also proud to debut our brand-new Toronto Soccer Jerseys, meticulously prepared by Brian Tsang (Class of 2002), adding a fresh and spirited look to our team as we continue this storied tradition.
